Location
Pier 55 in Hudson River Park
A beautiful park is filled with lush landscape including brown grasses swaying in the wind, purple blooming flowers and tall trees. In the background concrete tulip shaped pots create a covered area that people walk under. The Empire State Building is in the top left hand corner along with other city views.

Join Little Island’s Landscape Architect Signe Nielsen, MNLA and Architect of Record Fabian Jabro, Standard Architects to learn all about how Little Island began as a simple plan to revive a pier destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and turned into an award-winning public park that has welcomed over 3.5 million visitors. You’ll hear the thought process behind the winding pathways, colorful blooms and lush lawns from the woman who envisioned them along with the stories about creating the engineering feat that is the tulip pots from the man that helped to bring Heatherwick's design to life. This one-of-a-kind tour is only offered for Archtober

No need to RSVP, just join us under the covered area of the South Bridge
