Join us for a panel discussion and Q&A with Ainslie Gores Gilligan, Gabe Gilligan, and Mark Markiewicz, moderated by Gwen North Reiss, on the legacy of Landis Gores, his family life, accomplishments, and architectural feats. Gores attended the Harvard Graduate School of Design before settling in New Canaan. One of the “Harvard Five,” he was Philip Johnson’s associate on the Glass House design. Gores’ notable projects include the Gores House, the Irwin Pool House, the House for All Seasons, and Strathmoor Village. Architect and former President of the Board of Governors, Mark Markiewicz recently published the book, Landis Gores: Architecture of Konsequenz, which will be available for purchase. Light refreshments offered. Admission is free, with limited space.
