Join award winners and innovation leaders from Pratt's Creative Enterprise Leadership (CEL) International Graduate Programs and Catalyst Action Network (CAN) to design life-centered innovation and to attend a future of our own making!
We invite program alumni and recent graduates from the Creative Enterprise Leadership International Graduate Programs in Design Management and Arts and Cultural Management to share their sustainable innovative practices and projects. Approximately four presenters or groups will present for 15 minutes each with 5 minutes of Q & A. Intended audience: prospective applicants, current Pratt students, program alumni, readers of program publication Catalyst, and innovators in the community and beyond.
Camila Montoya, Founder and Creative Director at d’Francisco
d’Francisco is a jewelry brand based in the US with production in Colombia that launched in 2021. Inspired by nature, d’Francisco uses its role in fashion as a means to educate customers on the importance of protecting and respecting the environment. By using 3D printing technology and recycled metals to reduce waste and create sustainable fine jewelry.
Aditi Mukherjee, Founder of Not Same, Equal
Not Same, Equal uses regenerative, soil-positive, natural, closed-loop fibers to make socially-responsible, universally relevant, space-making products. It envisions a world where all people are empowered to live up to their best potential and co-creates circular value with the best in people, their actions, and their environments.
Constancy: Combating Food Insecurity Among Pregnant Women
This project won the 2022 CORE77 Design Award Community Choice Prize in the Design for Social Impact category. It was designed by MPS.Design Management 2022 Graduates: Grace Morales, Jade Carter, Sabrina Casilla, Fumika Iwasaki, Richa Verma, and Tito Nawat. Read More.
