Interior Design: Paths to Professionalism

A lively New York Eleven Plus, Inc. (NY11+) discussion that will focus on the personal and professional journeys of an esteemed panel of interior designers.  Hosted by the New York School of Interior Design, the panel will include Alexandria Davis, president of IIDA NY, Heather Maloney, Vice President Design at Standard Hotels, Melissa Brinson, Associate Vice President Business Development Leader at Cannon Design, Kayla Karp of CIDQ, and others. New York Eleven Plus, Inc. (NY11+) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, comprised of prestigious New York State educational institutions offering four-year or more programs in Interior Design whose mission is to promote public awareness of the interior design profession by providing a platform to showcase student work from prestigious New York State institutions. By increasing visibility, it aims to emphasize the complexity and responsibility of the profession, particularly as it pertains to the health, safety, welfare and economics of the public.
