Open [Block] House

Visit the Institute for Public Architecture on Governors Island on October 28 and 12pm–4pm for Open [Block] House. See work in progress by the 2023 Fall Residency Fellows as you stroll the 184-year old Block House. Each Fellow occupies a space in the house where they display drawings, diagrams, artifacts, prototypes, images and text relating to their projects. Visitors are welcome to freely wander these spaces and explore. The IPA Residency is the only overnight program on the Island.
