This fall, MAS is celebrating design excellence in New York City with our 2024 MASterworks Awards! We have curated a selection of in person explorations and online in-conversations with this year’s honored projects.

On Friday, November 1 from 12-1PM, join MAS for a virtual conversation in celebration of Far Rockaway Library, 2024 MASterworks winner for Best New Building. Team members from Snøhetta and NYC Department of Design and Construction will engage in conversation about this exciting, dynamic project.

In the aftermath of the Hurricane Sandy, the original Far Rockaway Library provided vital disaster relief for local residents. With the design of the new building, Queens Public Library and the designers aim to provide an inviting space for learning, reading, and community. Learn more about the project >
