The Urban Green Gala

Celebrate the year's achievements in climate progress at the Urban Green Gala! On October 1, Urban Green Council is bringing together NYC's sustainability community for a lively celebration at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. The Gala is the most important fundraising event of the year, and it supports Urban Green’s key education, research and policy initiatives. Come enjoy dinner, drinks and a stunning sunset over the Hudson River while meeting influential leaders working toward a sustainable future.This year, Urban Green is honoring Gina McCarthy, one of the most respected voices on climate change, the environment and public health. From 2021 to 2022, Gina served as the first White House National Climate Advisor under President Biden and took the lead on implementing some of the most progressive climate action in history. We hope you’ll join us to honor Gina and look ahead to the future of environmental action.
