The SYLVAN WINDS is coming to Eldridge Street to celebrate the proud history of Jewish composers, from the 1920s to the 2020s!Hailed by The New York Times for "…its venturesome programming and stylishness of performance," the Sylvan Winds will perform their renditions of pieces from Jewish composers of the last 100 years, from Czech composer Pavel Haas, who perished in the Holocaust, to Klezmer Revival numbers by Gene Kavadlo, to crowd favorites from George Gershwin and Leonard Bernstein, to contemporary Jewish composers Jan Radzynski and Zvi Avni.

Join the program at Museum at Eldridge Street’s historic Main Sanctuary on Sunday, November 24th at 3pm for an ode to the Jewish contribution to the world of music.
