Magazzino Italian Art – Located in Cold Spring, Magazzino is a museum and research center devoted to Postwar and Contemporary Italian art. Meaning "warehouse" in Italian, Magazzino was designed by architects Alberto Campo Baeza and Miguel Quismondo. Don't miss the Sardinian donkeys on the grounds.
Glass House – The Glass House, built between 1949 and 1995 by architect Philip Johnson, is a 49-acre site located in New Canaan, CT. The landscape comprises fourteen structures, including the Glass House (1949), and features a permanent collection of 20th-century painting and sculpture, along with temporary exhibitions. Tours of the site are available in April through December.
Grace Farms – Also in New Canaan, CT, Grace Farms is an 80-acre pastoral landscape comprised of the SANAA-designed River building. The preserve encourages engagement with art, faith, and the environment through nature trails, restored meadows, and diverse natural habitats.
The Fullerton Mansion Center for Culture and History – The Fullerton is a volunteer-led creative organization in Newburgh, NY, promoting programs and research celebrating the city's history and diverse culture. Some of its Archtober events include conversations around rehabilitating historic buildings and exploring how religious organizations preserve sacred sites.
Art Omi – Art Omi is an international arts organization in Columbia County, NY with a 120-acre sculpture and architecture park and gallery. They provide residencies for writers, artists, architects, musicians, dancers and choreographers as well as run an arts education program for the local community.
